Our Story Begins
1982
Geoffrey’s Diamonds was founded by Geoffrey Stern in San Carlos, CA. What began as a small neighborhood shop soon blossomed as word spread about Geoffrey’s dedication to craftsmanship, quality, and personal service. Geoffrey prided himself on providing exceptional customer care, believing that jewelry is one of the most personal purchases a person can make.
From engagements and anniversaries to moments of remembrance, he understood that each piece carried a story. That philosophy continues to guide us today as we celebrate life’s biggest highs—and honor its deepest lows—alongside our clients.
A legacy carried forward
2012
After three decades of building the business, Geoffrey retired. Rather than selling to an outside investor, he entrusted the company to his own team—people he had trained, mentored, and trusted to carry forward his vision.
Geoffrey believed he had cultivated the very best within his staff, and by passing the torch to them, he ensured that the values, reputation, and personal service he built would remain at the heart of Geoffrey’s Diamonds for generations to come.
Shining even brighter
2016
With Geoffrey’s blessing, Geoffrey’s Diamonds expanded and opened a flagship store in Campbell. This beautiful new showroom gave the team an opportunity to share the same trusted experience with even more of the Bay Area community.
What truly set the expansion apart was not just the space, but the people behind it—a team bringing over 100 years of combined jewelry expertise to the South Bay. With a continued focus on exceptional customer service, the Campbell location carried forward Geoffrey’s philosophy that every client deserves personalized care, whether they’re shopping for a milestone celebration or a meaningful everyday piece.

In 2021, we unveiled a completely reimagined showroom, designed with every detail centered on elevating the client experience. The addition of a private patio and in-house bar creates a warm, welcoming space where customers can relax and celebrate life’s moments in style.
